Duluth launches Frosty Fun — 21 days of amazing & FREE winter activities for all ages
There will be a flurry of activity in downtown Duluth this winter season, as the city launches an ambitious calendar of Frosty Fun — with activities starting on Saturday, November 18, 2023 and extending into the New Year.
The events are spread out around the downtown area, including Parsons Alley, the Activity Lawn, and the Duluth Town Green.
Everything is FREE to attend.
Note that a few events (not many) require advance registration, so scroll thru the list and get that taken care of ASAP!

Chill out and watch frosty magic take shape in Parsons Alley from noon to 5 p.m. If you want to see the carving actually happen, get there before 2 p.m. — afterward, you can admire it and take photos!
Roller Skating
Skate for FREE on the rink on the Activity Lawn. Yes, even your skate rental is FREE!

Mini Golf
Enjoy a frosty twist on the classic game — it’s FREE to play and clubs are provided. The 9-hole course is open on the Activity Lawn from 2 to 5 p.m.

Whoville Pop-up
The Grinch will be there, and you can enjoy frosty activities with Cindy Lou Who, including free temporary tattoos, photo opps, craft station and more. 2 to 5 p.m. outside Duluth City Hall
Duluth Farmers & Artisans Market
Shop local for handmade items from 2 to 5 p.m. on the Duluth Town Green.

Cookies & Cocoa with Santa
Santa makes his final stop in Duluth at the Festival Center on Saturday, December 16!
Join Santa and his elves at 3142 Hill Street from 10 a.m. to noon.
Free cookies and crafts (while supplies last) will be available for kids.
Get a FREE professional picture taken with Santa while the little ones tell him what they want for Christmas.
Santa pictures will be posted on the City’s Facebook page for free download at a later time.
Don’t forget to bring those letters for Santa to bring back to the North Pole!
Time is limited so please arrive early. The event is free to the public.
