The Atlanta Botanical Garden is once again presenting Garden Lights, Holiday Nights for the 2020 holiday season.
The nightly capacity for this beloved light show has been drastically reduced this year. Tickets go on sale on October 1st, and are limited to 8 per order. You may want to jump on it and buy early. And if you need to skip this event in 2020, remember it will return next year.
We have info on discounts below, after the general information.

Masks are required for all guests over 10 years of age, indoors at all times, and outdoors when you’re within six feet of other guests.
Many pathways will be one-way only through the garden — please observe the directional signs.
Tickets can only be purchased online in advance.
To limit crowds upon arrival, there are two separate entrances — one for general admission, and one for premium ticket holders.
About the 2020 light show
Garden Lights, Holiday Nights runs nightly from November 14, 2020 through January 16, 2020 — and this includes Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
The lights are on from 5 to 10 p.m.
The 2020 light display combines new features with perennial favorites.
You’ll find all-new music and motion for Nature’s Wonders, which is said to be the largest curtain of synchronized light and sound in the world.
New for 2020 are the spectacular lighted sculptures from the blockbuster exhibition, Alice’s Wonderland Reimagined. In this exhibit, the Red Queen joins the White Rabbit and Phoenix in larger-than-life topiary sculptures that will twinkle with holiday cheer.
And, the beloved Ice Goddess is back with new colors in her flowing locks.
2020 ticket prices
Ticket prices depend on which night you go, and when you purchase tickets.
If you scroll down, you’ll find the scoop on hours, prices, and ways to save a few bucks. Sales tax will be added to all the prices listed there.
In general, tickets are $5 higher across the board this year, possibly to make up for the more limited capacity.
Peak night prices are a whopping $10 higher than the 2019 prices.
Children under 3 get in free.
General admission tickets are the most affordable, but have no weather guarantee or rain check.

Upgrade your experience:
♣ For an extra $10, you can purchase a Flex ticket that lets you reschedule the date of your visit, in case the weather is bad or you have something come up. You must choose the Flex option at the time of purchase.
♣ For a flat rate of $119 per adult (and $109 per child age 3+), you can purchase a Premium ticket. Considering this option was only a $10 add-on to regular price last year, this pricing seems excessive and ridiculous. The Premium ticket includes Flex options, no time restrictions, cloth face mask, lighted bulb necklace, hologram glasses, drink ticket, and express entry.
