Lights of Life is one of the most affordable holiday lights displays around metro Atlanta. The 1.5 mile drive around the Life University campus in Marietta features more than one million lights, arranged to create charming vignettes.
The holiday lights display opens for the 2019 season on Thanksgiving Day, which is November 28th, 2019. It remains open through New Years Eve.
Admission prices are per car, so pack in your family and friends and go for a ride!
Prices vary a bit by date, but most days are $10 per car or truck.
The $10 price is in effect for:
- Thanksgiving Day and Weekend (Nov. 28th to Dec. 1st)
- All weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays)
- Week nights between December 13th through 31st
However, there are some bargain nights — just $5 per car or truck on these dates:
- December 2nd thru 5th
- December 9th thru 12th
Buses are $20 every night.
The display opens at dark every night and runs until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
In past years, Santa Claus was on hand on the weekends for photographs.
Returning this year are:
- pony rides
- train rides
- petting zoo
- concession stand
We don’t have 2019 price info yet, but last year the pony rides were $5, while the train rides and petting zoo were $3.
Life University introduced Lights of Life to the local community in 1989.
The campus is located on Barclay Circle, off Highway 41 (Cobb Parkway) in Marietta.
