If Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier Islands is on your short list of must-do holiday activities, you may want to head out soon:
Admission to Magical Nights of Lights is regularly $60/car (1-9 passengers), $90 for vans (10-19 passenger capacity), & $250 for buses (20+ passenger capacity). But you can save a bit if you pick up a coupon at Publix: With the coupon, you can save $10 on admission to Magical Nights of Lights. The coupon is valid Sunday-Saturday through November 26 & Sunday-Thursday from December 1-31, 2013, excluding December 24 & 25. You can use code “PLX” if you order tickets online. Even better: If you go today or tomorrow (November 25 or 26), the coupon is good for $20 off admission.
FYI–Be advised. We’ve gone to holiday lights events at Lake Lanier in the past, and without fail, we get sucked into stopping by the carnival/Santa’s Workshop after we complete the driving tour. This year, there’s an ice skating rink, too. Either bring money for rides & treats or tell the kids you’re just going to see the lights. And if you do stop in the Holiday Village, be sure to bring your supplies to make s’mores by the fire.
