Dog swim days are held at public swimming pools around metro Atlanta in late summer — just before the pools are drained and closed for the summer. These doggy swim days are about the only time your pup will be welcomed into a municipal pool to splash, paddle, and play fetch.
This is a permanent page that we update each year in August, with the current year’s listings for dog swim days.
This list has been updated for 2023.
Each of these dog swim day events has pretty specific rules, for health reasons.
And they all have a small fee attached.
See the details below, to be sure you’re prepared to follow the guidelines for each specific event — and click through the links to review all requirements from the official website.
HINT: We suggest always bringing proof of vaccination.
