UPDATED on 10/14/2020
Because of all the rain we had in conjunction with Hurricane Delta, the Georgia State Fair has extended its run.
The fair will be open this weekend during the following hours:
- Saturday, Oct. 17th — noon to midnight
- Sunday, Oct. 18th — noon to 10 p.m.
The Georgia State Fair returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway for ten days, opening on Friday, October 2nd and running through Sunday, October 11th, 2020.
Check out the deals and discounts on admission and rides, listed below — including a great Groupon deal for advance purchase.
BUT REMEMBER, just because something is happening doesn’t mean you have to go. If you’re feeling unwell or have been exposed to a sick person, you should stay home. And use your best judgment about what’s right for you and your family, keeping CDC guidelines in mind.
You might also consider the North Georgia State Fair in Marietta, which is happening as a drive-thru food event this year — without rides, live entertainment, and the like.
The Atlanta Motor Speedway is located at 1500 Tara Place, in Hampton, Georgia.
