Avondale Estates is making use of its newly constructed Town Green by continuing the concert series it launched last year.
The 2023 Weekend Wind Down concerts will take place on second Sundays of the month, during the spring and fall months (the series will take a break during the summer heat of July and August).
Last year, the concerts featured food trucks on site.

2023 Concert Schedule
Sunday, May 14 (Mother’s Day)
5 to 8 p.m.
Caroline Aiken, Donna Hopkins, and Carly Gibson are a trio of songwriters who join together with a rhythm section for a bluesy, folksy, acoustic evening.
Sunday, June 11 RESCHEDULED to June 25th
6 to 9 p.m.
Rita Graham, one of the legendary women of jazz and blues, performs along with a full band.
Sunday, September 10
5 to 8 p.m.
COT Band is a local favorite, playing Latin and Caribbean rhythms with elements of funk, pop, and Brazilian beats — to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month.
Sunday, October 8
5 to 8 p.m.
Gurufish brings a high-octane show fueled by irresistible melodies wrapped around hypnotic, funky grooves.
Sunday, November 12
5 to 8 p.m.
Funk Cake will bring New Orleans brass to the Town Green, to keep the audience dancing.
