Where has this year gone? Or even this month? How is it already time for the annual lighting of Atlantic Station?
Light the Station at Atlantic Station is one of Atlanta’s first tree lightings of the season, and it’ll take place on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
They don’t just flip a switch & call it a day. From 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., swing by the Activity Village for family fun for all ages. From 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., you can visit with Santa’s Reindeer.
Live music starts at 6:00 p.m., followed by Santa’s Parade at 7:00 p.m. The Jolly Old Elf arrives at 7:45 p.m. to light the grand Christmas Tree. After he’s done, stick around for a festive fireworks display.
While you’re out & about for the lighting of Atlantic Station, you can spend your day ice skating–Skate Atlantic Station opens at noon.
And though it doesn’t officially open until November 23, you can get a sneak peek of the Atlanta Christkindl Market, an outdoor shopping experience featuring German & European vendors selling their wares out of traditional wooden booths.
The Snow Shows in Central Park start on Sunday, November 18, and will continue daily through December 14, 2018. Each Snow Show is set to festive tunes, and it lasts about 10 minutes. Weather permitting, snow will fall on Sunday-Thursday at 7:00 p.m. & Friday & Saturday at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., & 9:00 p.m.
The Lighting of Atlantic Station will take place on Winter Wonder Lane, just off Market Street and adjacent to Dillard’s.
