As always, you’ll want to quickly check with the location nearest you, just to make sure it’s not the outlier that doesn’t participate in holiday hours.
First of all, here are the chains you can cross right off your list, because they are CLOSED for Thanksgiving 2022:

These are listed roughly in order of how common they are throughout Atlanta and suburbs. They are not in alphabetic order.

Tower Wine & Spirits is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m on Thanksgiving Day.
Locations in Buckhead and Doraville.

Kroger
Most Kroger stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day.
Individual store hours may vary, and some may have reduced hours, so call your preferred location for details.
Fresh Market
Last year, the chain set standard hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. We expect this to be the case again in 2023, but you can call your location to verify.
Whole Foods Market
Stores are open, but some will have modified hours for 2023 — and some will close as early as 2 p.m.
The website lists the hours each store will be open for the holiday, but you still may want to call ahead to verify.

Last year, we clicked on 4 local stores (2 ITP and 2 OTP) and each had hours listed as 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Thanksgiving.
Also, in previous years you could order through Amazon Prime on Thanksgiving Day till 2 p.m. for same day delivery.
H-mart
This Korean chain prides itself on being open 365 days of the year!
Last year, hours were 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, but could vary by location.
You’ll find stores in Doraville, Duluth, Johns Creek, Riverdale, and Suwanee.

Buford Highway Farmers Market
Last year, we shot them a note via social media and they said they were open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
We will update for 2023 if new info becomes available.
Instacart
Last year, the national grocery delivery service was delivering orders from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Atlanta.
From the national website:
Delivery through Instacart is open the day before Thanksgiving and on Thanksgiving Day, where available, matching most local retailer hours in the markets where Instacart operates.
Sprouts Farmer Market
According to the chain’s Holiday FAQ webpage, all locations are open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving in 2023.
Make a mental note for yourself now that they are closed on Christmas Day.
Food Lion
Most stores open regular hours.
Check online or call your store to verify. There are few locations left in Georgia.
Ingles
Most stores will be open, but closing early.

Pic N Pay
In past years, two locations on the South side said they were maintaining their 24-hour schedule over the holiday.
