For at least a few hours this Labor Day weekend, you’ll find us at Art in the Park, which takes place on Marietta’s Historic Square.
Not familiar with it? Art in the Park is a juried fine arts show, and it features works by 175 artists of all sorts—photographers, potters, sculptors, jewelers, painters, and the list goes on.
While you’re there, you can check out The Chalk Spot: A Street Chalk Art Display, let the kids can get creative with free make-and-take activities in the Children’s Art Area, enjoy live jazz music at the Music Café, & more.
We’ll likely combine our trip with a visit to the Marietta Farmer’s Market, which is open from 9:00 a.m.-noon on Saturday & noon-3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Art in the Park will take place from September 1-3, 2018.
Parking is free on the streets in the square, in the lot at the corner of Mill Street & N. Marietta Parkway, and in the Cobb County parking deck located on Waddell Street & Hansel Street.
