This is the second year for this popular egg hunt, designed specifically for children with special needs. It is FREE to attend.
The Eggstra-ordinary Easter Egg Hunt takes place on Saturday April 4, 2020 from 10 a.m. till noon.
The event is carefully planned to provide an egg-hunt experience for visually impaired and hearing impaired kids, without having to compete with hordes of other children.
There will be beeping eggs, as well as magnetic eggs that children can find with special magnetized wands.
For sensory-sensitive children there will be a special bean bag hunt and other customized activities.
You can also expect face painting, photos with Peter Rabbit, and plenty of treats.
The event is held at Lynwood Park, located at:
3360 Osborne Rd
Atlanta, Georgia 30319
You’ll find the activities on the park’s handicap-accessible outdoor basketball court, behind the recreation center.
Bring your own basket!
Siblings of special-needs kids are also welcome to participate in the egg hunt.
