Holy British Invasion! The Atlanta British Car Fayre is an annual event in Historic Downtown Norcross. It takes place on Saturday, Sept. 11th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hundreds of British cars and motorcycles will be on display. Come to explore the rare, the vintage, and the fast!
The car show and boot sale are FREE to attend.
It will be a fabulously British day with authentic fish and chips, and a British-style car boot sale.
The downtown area will likely be very congested, so consider using a ride share service like Uber or Lyft — or taking one of the event shuttles.
There will be street parking on designated streets only. The entrance to the Car Fayre is on Thrasher Street.
The FREE shuttle bus runs from 9:30 to 3:30.
You can park at and ride from:
• One Heart Church (706 N. Peachtree St)
• Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church (182 Hunter St)
NOTE that the city of Norcross has a special 9/11 Memorial Service planned in downtown that same day, from 8:25 to 8:40 a.m. It takes place at the corner of Jones St. and Lawrenceville St.
Show your own car or motorcycle
Do you have a British car you’d like to show? Register online by Sept. 8th at 10 p.m. and get a $5 discount on your registration. You can also register on-site, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the show.
The boot sale
The car boot sale is said to be the British version of a yard sale, with everyone selling stuff from the back of their car or truck. (“Boot” is British-English for trunk.)
You can come to shop, or to sell.
You don’t need a British car to sell your items! You’ll be assigned a parking space and you can set up an extra folding table if you need more space.
It’s $20 to register as a seller in the boot sale, and you must pre-register online.
