The Winter Lantern Festival returns for a fifth year, bringing a stunning collection of dazzling lanterns to the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds.

There are over 1000 specialized lanterns on display.
The lanterns are hand made by experienced artisans, and many are near life-size replicas of animals. There are also lighted tunnels, interactive light displays, and themed vignettes.
This is an outdoor walk-thru display, and you’ll want to allow at least 45 minutes to see everything.
Note that this is a rain-or-shine event.
You’ll find food for purchase on site, as well as additional activities that come with a small fee — like bounce houses and trampolines for the kids.
NEW this year — enjoy LIVE acrobat performances, included in your admission price! They take place at 6:15pm, 7:15pm, and 8:15pm.

The Winter Lantern Festival is open Thursday through Sunday, from 5 to 9:30 p.m. until December 19th, then it is open daily.
Last entry is at 8:30 p.m.
The dates are November 8, 2024 thru January 5, 2025.
