St. Patrick’s Day 2026 celebrations in Atlanta

Annual Atlanta St Patrick’s Parade

The Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade was started back in 1858, making it one of Atlanta’s longest running events — over a hundred years! It’s a family-friendly outing that has been planned to appeal to children. The parade usually includes clowns, decorated floats, marching bands, bagpipers, Irish dancers, baton throwers, and more.

Irish Fest in downtown Norcross
The annual Irish Fest takes place along Skin Alley on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be food and drink, lots of fun for the kids, a costume contest, and live entertainment that includes Irish dancers.

Outdoor Block Party at Fado Irish Pub
Saturday, March 14th to Tuesday, March 17th, 2026
All day events in Buckhead
Make a day of it at Fado, located at 273 Buckhead Ave in Buckhead.
Doors open at 7 a.m. for Kegs & Eggs. Brunch is served till noon. The big screens will feature rugby and soccer matches from Europe.
The outdoor street block party runs all day on Saturday with continuous live music. Note that this is a ticketed event for adults only (21+), with a $20 cover charge at the door — or save $5 when you buy in advance via Freshtix.

The city of Conyers has a quirky celebration planned. The events are FREE to attend and are family-friendly — so show up and be Irish for a day! You’re encouraged to wear green, dress like a leprechaun, or show up in other festive attire. Anyone can walk in the 2-block parade.
