National Hamburger Day is on May 28th every year.
In 2026, it lands on the Thursday following Memorial Day. And don’t confuse this made-up food holiday with National Cheeseburger Day — because that’s in September.

The Cheese Double is made with two 100% beef patties, a slice of melted American cheese, crisp dill pickles, diced onions, ketchup, and mustard, all stacked on a sesame seed bun.
There are over 30 locations in the extended metro Atlanta area.

On May 28, 2026, Del Taco is celebrating National Hamburger Day by offering a buy-one-get-one FREE Double Del Cheeseburger for Del Yeah! Rewards members. 

The Double Del Cheeseburger is made with two 100% beef patties grilled to order, two slices of American cheese, two fresh tomato slices, burger sauce, shredded lettuce and diced onions on a grilled sesame seed bun.
