The city of Brookhaven has come up with a new twist on its popular Movies Under the Stars series! This July, the first 50 families to sign up for each of two nights can watch Abominable in Brookhaven Park. It will be a FREE and informal drive-in movie experience.
The movie dates are Thursday, July 9th and Friday, July 10th. The same movie is playing both nights and will begin at dusk, around 8:30 p.m.
There is limited capacity — only the first 50 families to sign up online will receive tickets to the event.
Brookhaven Park is located at 4158 Peachtree Road. (You’ll enter the park through the gate at 2660 Osborne Rd for this event.)
All cars should enter the park between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. No walk-in pedestrian traffic will be allowed.
There will be 15-foot wide spaces for each car, with 6 feet between each space, for a tailgate atmosphere for each family vehicle. You’ll be asked to remain within the parameters of your car space throughout the movie.
Audio will come into your car via FM transmitter.
Admission to the movie is free, but those wishing to come need to register first. Register by clicking here, and then choosing the tab for Drive-in Movie Nights.
