The Atlanta History Center will present its annual Juneteenth program on Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. There will be a wide variety of programs — including Black history dramatizations, family-friendly activities, food, music, art, and more.
Everything is FREE to attend and the event is suitable for all ages.
Advance registration is highly recommended, but not required.
Please bring lawn chairs, blankets, or whatever you need to be comfortable outdoors.
If the weather is bad, the whole event will move indoors.
There is a strong chance of rain this weekend, and the History Center has a large indoor campus that can hold the event.
The activities include:
- Live DJ
- Food truck park + beverage stations (for purchase)
- Brown Sugar Stitchers Guild quilting demonstrations
- Family Makers Space
- Folktales & storytelling
- Goizueta Children’s Experience
- Historic craft demonstrations
