Horizon Theatre presents The Ghosts of Little Five Points this Halloween season.
The show is a fun, interactive event with cocktails, party games, and ghosts who tell their spine-tingling tales. You’ll log in to Zoom to join medium Gina for a Halloween party with her spirited guests — the real and imagined ghosts of Little Five Points.
Live theatre meets Halloween magic during this live, virtual interactive Halloween show. You’ll meet over a dozen ghosts of Little Five Points, from familiar haunts like the Euclid Avenue Yacht Club, The Vortex, The Star Bar, and Variety Playhouse to the secret witch’s coven and lonely train tracks.
DRESS:
Come in full costume and show it off on Zoom! You could also don a festive hat or mask, or just keep it simple and come as you are. Horizon will highlight the best costumes among Zoom attendees.
BRING YOUR OWN BOOZE:
When you register for a ticket, you’ll receive a recipe for the Ghostlight Cocktail that Gina will show you how to create. So, get the simple ingredients in advance and mix along. Or just BYOB and watch her entertaining mixology routine.
PARTY PROPS:
This interactive party has some surprises in store, so bring your treats and tricks along with you. You’ll receive a list of small, easy to find props that will allow you to interact with the ghosts. You don’t have to have them to participate, but it will be more fun!
YOUR HOSTS:
The play has been created by some of the greatest comic and dramatic writing talents of Atlanta!
YOUR GHOSTS:
Hilarious Gina is your guide and medium for the evening in her seance parlor, created by Horizon’s award-winning stage designer. The cast of ghosts is played by some of Atlanta’s favorite actors, including some you’ve seen before on the Horizon stage.
DATE AND TIME:
The play runs from Thursday, October 22rd through Sunday, November 1st, 2020.
Showtime is 8 p.m.
SUGGESTED AUDIENCE:
The play was written for adults, but will be okay for teens. Be aware there is some strong language and cocktail mixing.
