
Hapeville will host its Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 1:00 to 6 p.m. It is FREE to attend and open to the public.
The celebration takes place at the Hapeville Depot Museum and Jess Lucas Park, which are adjacent to each other.
This is the 2nd annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration in Hapeville.
This year, it features live music from the Grammy-winning group Arrested Development, performing live at 4:30 p.m.
There will also be dancing and spoken word performances.
There will be food trucks on site.
For the kids, there will be games, inflatables, face painting and more.
Additionally, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., there will be Black History Tours and a Black History Scavenger Hunt at the Depot Museum.
