The inaugural Marietta Community Egg Hunt will take place on Friday, April 19th at Marietta High School, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The various egg hunts and related activities are FREE, while there is a $7 charge for unlimited rides in the Kids Zone. There will be food available for purchase.
The event is sponsored by Superior Plumbing and Zaxby’s, who will each have giant hot air balloons on site.
This is a huge event, with more than 80,000 eggs and candy for the various hunts.
Event schedule
Egg Hunts – located on Marietta High School athletic practice fields
- 5:30 p.m. — egg hunt for ages three and under (there will also be another toddler egg hunt in a separate area)
- 6:00 p.m. – egg hunt for special needs kids
- 7:00 p.m. — egg hunt for ages four to seven (there will also be a toddler egg hunt in a separate area)
- 8:00 p.m. — egg hunt for special needs kids
- 8:30 p.m. — egg hunt for ages eight to ten (there will also be a toddler egg hunt in a separate area)
Atlanta Puppet will be putting on interactive shows on the hour between the egg hunts.
