Free Comic Book Day is Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The annual event is noted for giveaways at participating comic shops.
This year, the day will feature a community celebration in historic downtown Lawrenceville — the event is now called DTL CON-Quest and has been greatly expanded from prior years.
DTL CON-Quest is a two-day event this year, happening on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2, 2026.
It is a celebration of comics, cosplay, games, and pop culture fandom.
So come in costume!
The event is held at the Lawrenceville Arts Center, located at 125 N. Clayton St. in downtown Lawrenceville.
It is FREE to attend.
Friday hours are 6 to 10 p.m.
Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
You’ll also find panels, workshops, costume contests, live performances, and interactive experiences.
And of course, there will be FREE comic books.
Get more info from the event web page OR from the Facebook page.
