
Cobb County celebrates 250 years of American independence on Friday, June 26, 2026 with a festival and patriotic drone light show.
The event is FREE to attend.
It takes place from 5 to 10 p.m. at Jim Miller Park.
Wear your red, white, and blue, and bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and patriotic spirit for a night of community celebration and family fun.
The event will feature:

Family-friendly activities like rock climbing, face painting, petting zoo, caricature artists and more.
Food trucks and vendors
Community displays
A drone show at dusk
Drone Show
The evening will end with a special drone show at dusk, illuminating the night sky.
You are encouraged to arrive early, find a comfortable viewing spot, and enjoy the full evening of activities before the show begins.

Free parking is available (but limited) in the event’s general parking lot area.
Overflow parking is available in the North Lot on Al Bishop Drive and the South Lot on Callaway Road, with shuttles provided to the main event entrance for anyone needing assistance from each lot.
Uber/Lyft drop-off/pick-up site available near the main entrance.
