This Saturday, the sidewalks of South Fulton become a canvas, and everyone is invited to pick up a piece of chalk.
Chalk the Block is happening on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
It is FREE to attend outside the Southwest Arts Center.
If you want to register to create chalk art, the fee is $5.
The fee includes chalk, a t-shirt, water bottle, sunscreen, and a bag.
Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to turn the sidewalks into colorful works of art during the annual chalk art competition.
Chalk the Block brings neighbors and artists together for a day of creating art side by side, with food, music, and prizes up for grabs.
Members of the community can create art alongside professional artists, or just come out to enjoy the festival.
There will be a DJ, food trucks, bounce house, and face painting.
