Georgia Ensemble Theatre presents Ring of Fire: The Johnny Cash Musical, playing Thursday through Sunday, from Oct. 9 to 12, 2025.
This dynamic musical draws from the songbook of Johnny Cash and includes more than two dozen classic hits — including I Walk The Line, A Boy Named Sue, Folsom Prison Blues, and Ring of Fire.
The show paints a portrait of The Man in Black that promises to be a foot-stompin’, crowd-pleasin’ salute to a one-of-a-kind musical legend.
Each of the multi-talented singer/musicians wear the mantle of Johnny Cash throughout the show as his life story is told through his music, climaxing in a concert that will both move and exhilarate.
This show is an editor’s pick event here at Atlanta on the Cheap.

Bring your own beverage:
This show is eligible for the theater’s BYOB protocol, so guests over age 21 may bring a bottle of wine or beer.
There are very specific legal guidelines, so please know the rules:
• Bring your unopened bottle of wine or beer, and plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance to allow time for everyone to complete this process.
• Visit the concessions stand to buy a cup and a tag/bag for your bottle ($2.50 per person). Per code, we must supply these tags and bags for every bottle.
• Tag the bottle with your name, pour one “glass” per patron, put the bottle in our wine fridge, and take your glass into the theatre. (There is a cold fridge for white wine and a cool fridge for red wine.)
• At intermission, you can refill your cup and take it back in for the second act.
• At the end of the performance, take your bottle home (empty or not) in the tamper-proof to-go wine bag we provide.
Note: No GET representative or volunteer may handle the bottles.
