Acworth Cultural Arts presents Ink & Echo: Writing the Stories, Speaking the Truth — a book and storytelling festival — on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Roberts School Community and Education Center.
The program is open to all ages.
Admission is FREE.
You’ll find books for sale, author talks, book signings, storytelling, and vendors.
Come for a day of celebrating the power of words!
This year’s festival brings together an exciting mix of local and regional authors across a variety of genres, professional storytellers, vendors, and a dynamic panel discussion.
The program:
10 a.m.– 10:45 a.m. – Keynote Speaker: Bren McClain in conversation with T. M. Brown.
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Storytelling (five tellers)
12:30 p.m. –1 p.m. – Lunch break (with a special kids’ story time featuring Will and his guitar in the library)
1 p.m. – 2 p.m. – Storytelling (four tellers)
2 p.m. – 3 p.m. – Panel Discussion: Preparing the Next Generation of Storytellers
