Chamblee celebrates its 117th birthday with a free event this Friday

The city of Chamblee will celebate its 117th birthday on Friday, August 15, 2025 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Chamblee City Hall. 

You’re invited to attend A Celebration Through Time: Honoring Chamblee’s Past, Present, and Future. 

City officials will unveil a dedication plaque commemorating Wylie H. Chamblee, namesake of the City of Chamblee.

Attendees will also learn about Chamblee’s History from historians and members of The Chamblee History Project.

Free cupcakes will be provided, while supplies last.

Chamblee City Hall is located at 3518 Broad Street, in downtown Chamblee.
