Hapeville will host its Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 1:00 to 6:30 p.m. It is FREE to attend and open to the public.
The celebration takes place at the Hapeville Depot Museum and Jess Lucas Park, which are adjacent to each other.
This is the 1st annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration in Hapeville.
The day will start with a history tour, poetry session, and history panel discussion at the Hapeville Depot Museum and Christ Church from 1 – 3 PM.
It will then transition to a festival with live performances, vendors, and family-friendly activities at Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park from 3:30 – 6:30 PM.

Parade to the Park
Stilt walkers and dancers lead anyone who wants to join in.
