If you think the holidays couldn’t get any louder—or merrier—just wait until Tuba Christmas rolls into town. This annual gathering of brass players transforms familiar carols into a booming, joyful orchestra that’s as much fun to watch as it is to hear.
The first Tuba Christmas took place in 1974 at New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza ice rink.
It’s since turned into a quirky tradition that uses brass instruments to interpret the soundtrack of the season.
It’s not just about the music — it’s about the spectacle of dozens of brass players dressed festively and coming together to spread cheer and make a beautiful noise.
Tuba Christmas concerts are FREE and open to the public.
Please comply with any rules that are specific to the venue in which you attend a concert.
