UPDATE: Stone Mountain Park can be a great place to go for a drive — it gets you out of the house and keeps the car from sitting too long
Only park attractions are closed at this time — this includes the skyride, scenic railroad, dinosaur exhibit, historic square, farmyard, and others.
You can still access the natural areas of the park, including:
- The Grist Mill & Covered Bridge
- Quarry Exhibit
- Hiking & Nature Trails, including the Walk-Up Trail, Carillon, and the Songbird Habitat & Trail.
REMEMBER: An annual parking pass or daily park entry fee of $20 is required for entry.
Stone Mountain is never a cheap proposition for families. Whenever there are ways to save on parking or all-attractions passes, we’ll let you know here.
The daily parking fee alone is $20 per car, so often it’s worth it to pay $40 for the annual parking pass.
The annual pass runs for 12 months, starting with the month you made the purchase — it doesn’t reflect the Jan–Dec calendar year. In other words, you’ll get 12 full months of value, no matter when you buy the pass. You can purchase the parking pass at the park gate when you drive up to the admission booth.
Two current discounts not to be missed!
$5 off annual parking pass
For a limited time, you can get the Stone Mountain annual parking pass for just $35, thanks to a Groupon deal.
You cannot use the deal to extend your current parking pass — only to buy a new 12-month pass.
It’s not clear whether the parking sticker will be mailed to you, or if you have to take a voucher to the park gate to redeem it for your parking sticker.
FREE pre-K pass for children ages 3 to 5
This is the first time we’ve seen this offer!
Families with young children can now save substantially on admission fees — with the new pre-K pass, kids from ages 3 to 5 get into the park for FREE, through August 31, 2020.
To get the free pass, you only need to register online and then bring your child to the park to activate the membership in person by May 25th.
To activate, you must show proof of your child’s age in the form of a birth certificate or passport. Documents can be originals, photocopies or digital copies.
But it gets even better!
When you activate the pass for your little one, you can buy a Pre-K Companion Pass for other family members, at just $39.95 each.
The companion pass lets other family members enjoy unlimited visits to Stone Mountain Park from March 1 to August 31, 2020.
Considering the regular price for a daily All-Attractions Pass is $34.95, the Companion Pass is a heck of a deal! At just $5 more for unlimited visits, it pays for itself in just two visits.
There is also a $20 Pre-K meal deal that gives you 4 meal vouchers. The meals covered are smaller than regular child-sized portions.
Current general admission packages
Please use the links to verify a deal is still on, before you head out — and note that some of them only apply to online purchases and are not available at the gate.
