The city of Powder Springs will host an Independence Day celebration and fireworks on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The event will also include a cruise-in car show.
The festival takes place in downtown Powder Springs, in and around Thurman Springs Park, from 6 to 10 p.m.
You may come early to stake out your spot with blankets and chairs.
Admission is FREE.
There will be food vendors and live music, plus a Kids Area.
The event is within the Entertainment District, so you may purchase and carry alcohol within the district.

- Fireworks spectacular after dark
Feel free to come early and claim your spot on the lawn.
Blankets and chairs are welcome.
No tents or tables, please!
No pets allowed.
Bring a picnic or buy food on site.
This is an Entertainment District that allows you to carry purchased alcohol with you, but you may not bring outside alcohol.
Coolers are allowed.
There will be alcohol available for purchase, but you may not bring your own.

Parking
You’ll have to park off-site and walk to Thurman Springs Park.
We do NOT have shuttle info for 2026.
