Avondale Estates will host a 4th of July celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
It’s a whole day of family fun, starting with a Fourth of July Parade at 10 a.m.
Everything is FREE to attend.
The parade starts at the intersection of Berkeley Rd and Clarendon Ave. It will then travel on Clarendon to S. Avondale Rd. It’s a rain-or-shine event.

Fireworks are back!
After a hiatus last year, Avondale Estates is planning fireworks at a new location in 2026.
Bring your blankets for a fun, festive Fourth on the field at the Napoleon B. Cobb Stadium (formerly Avondale Stadium) at the DeKalb School of the Arts, located at 1192 Clarendon Avenue.
Enjoy games, food, activities, and music for the entire family.
Fireworks will be launched from south end of the stadium once it gets dark.
Food and beverage will be available for purchase starting at 7 p.m.
No alcoholic beverages will be allowed on DeKalb County School property.

Transportation & Parking:
Parking will be limited. Please consider walking, biking and alternate modes of transportation.
Setting up at the Stadium:
Enter the stadium from Berkeley Road. All activities and fireworks viewing will take place on the field. The stadium stands will be off-limits to guests.
Attendees will go through normal DeKalb County Schools security entry protocol, and bags will be checked.
While the stadium will open to the public starting at 7 p.m., no personal belongings may be left on the field unattended.
