Come to Oakland Cemetery on the weekend of October 3rd and 4th, 2020, and pick out your perfect pumpkin.
This is a family-friendly, low-contact event that is FREE to attend. The hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
According to the Facebook event page, you’ll find a variety of pumpkins ranging from large carvers to decorative quirky cuties.
You’ll find the sale near the Oakland Bell Tower, inside the cemetery grounds.
You’ll also find fabulous dried flower arrangements that have been created by the cemetery’s garden staff.
PHOTO OPP! The Richards Mausoleum, with its gothic architecture and bat-winged gargoyles, will be decorated for the season. Line up the kids for pictures, or shoot a selfie with your bestie.
Please park in the public lot located at the corner of Oakland Ave. and MLK Jr. Dr. If you buy more than you can carry back to your car easily, you can make arrangements with staff to pull up closer for pickup.
This is a low-contact sale. That means no cash — only debit, credit, or electronic payments.
Masks are required for anyone over the age of two, and everyone must maintain six-feet of distance between anyone who’s not a member of your household.
