Holiday tree lighting, concert, and lantern parade at Harmony Park in Oakhurst, on Dec. 7th

The Oakhurst Neighborhood Association hosts the annual tree lighting, lantern parade, and community choir performance on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. 

It takes place at Harmony Park, in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur. 

At 4:00 p.m. families will gather in the playgarden at Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool for the lantern making, then the Lantern Parade will head to Harmony Park around 5:30pm.

The Oakhurst Community Choir will begin their concert at 6pm.
Oakview Coffee will provide the warm beverages at Harmony Park.

This is a free event open to the community from the Oakhurst Neighborhood Association.
