Light Up Brookhaven is a winter festival with tree & menorah lighting + activities for kids

Light Up Brookhaven takes place on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Blackburn Park. It is FREE to attend.

This is a three-hour winter festival that included the traditions of both Christmas and Hanukah — along with food, music, giveaways, face-painting, a candy cane hunt, and more seasonal fun.

Expect a dramatic arrival by Santa Claus via helicopter!
Bring your camera for DIY pics with Santa and make some memories. 

Activities for the kiddos include bouncy houses, inflatables, train rides, petting zoo, and crafts.

The event includes the lighting of the city’s 40-foot Christmas tree, the city’s Hanukah menorah, and the dreidel display.
