The city of Covington has planned a festive holiday season in 2025.
Covington’s annual Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10 a.m.
There are few details available, other than what’s on the city website.
Lights at Legion
This festive holiday light display is FREE to attend, at Legion Field in Covington.
It will open on Saturday, December 6, 2025 with the Lights at Legion Kickoff.
The event will start at 6:00 p.m. and include shopping at the Covington Mistletoe Market, food trucks, & a chance to visit with Santa.
Trees will be lit each night through Sunday, January 4, 2026 for you to enjoy.

Mistletoe Market
The Mistletoe Market will be held at the Lights at Legion Kickoff on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Legion Field.
This is a local holiday shopping experience featuring local artisans, crafts, woodworking, bakers, and more. Come out and support local vendors.
Santa on the Square
The Covington events calendar includes two dates for this event.
Bring your own camera to take photos with Santa.
On December 11, 2025, Santa will be on the Square, and holiday movie shorts will play on the big screen.
The event is 6 to 8 p.m.
On December 18, 2025, Santa will appear with live reindeer on the Square, from 6 to 8 p.m.
