The city of Covington has planned a festive holiday season in 2025, with plenty of holiday events for all ages.
It all starts with Covington’s annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10 a.m.
There are few details available, other than what’s on the city website.
But we have details for the holiday events just below!
Santa on the Square
Santa Claus and his live reindeer will be on the Covington Square on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Families are invited to visit with the man in red and his helpers, for FREE.
Bring your camera and snap your holiday shots.
The line to visit Santa will close around 7:30, so make sure you’re in line before then.
NOTE: Due to a scheduling conflict, this is a different date than what appears on the original 2025 Covington Events Calendar.
Lights at Legion
This festive holiday light display is FREE to attend, at Legion Field in Covington.
It will open on Saturday, December 6, 2025 with the Lights at Legion Kickoff.
The event will start at 6:00 p.m. and include shopping at the Covington Mistletoe Market, food trucks, & a chance to visit with Santa.
Trees will be lit each night through Sunday, January 4, 2026 for you to enjoy.

Mistletoe Market
The Mistletoe Market will be held at the Lights at Legion Kickoff on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Legion Field.
This is a local holiday shopping experience featuring local artisans, crafts, woodworking, bakers, and more. Come out and support local vendors.
