Zoo Atlanta is hosting a special Family Days event on Saturday and Sunday, August 8 and 9, 2026.
On these two days, they are offering FREE admission and FREE parking to:
- residents of the City of Atlanta
- residents of Fulton County
- employees of the city of Atlanta government
- employees of Fulton County government
The offer includes free admission for up to two adults and up to four children per party.
You don’t need a timed reservation to participate.
If you’re eligible, just walk up to the ticket booth with your ID.
Hours on Saturdays and Sundays are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the last entry is at 4:30 p.m.
Parking will also be FREE on those two days, in the Cherokee Avenue parking lot and Grant Park Gateway parking facility on Boulevard.

It is crucial that you bring all required credentials, to gain free entry on Aug. 8th or 9th.
For Atlanta or Fulton County residents:
Bring a GA drivers license or state-issued voter identification AND a utility bill that indicates your address of residence.
For government employees of Atlanta or Fulton County:
Bring an employee ID or badge.
