The July 4th Spectacular is Woodstock’s all day patriotic tribute to Independence Day, lasting from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. In case it isn’t clear from the event’s name, it takes place on July 4, 2019 — and includes a parade, summer festival, live music, and fireworks.
The day starts with a parade! It begins at 10 a.m. on Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Road, travels down Main Street, and ends at Sam’s Club near Hwy 92. The parade will go on rain or Shine, unless the weather becomes dangerous. Note that there will be road closures in the area.
The Summer Festival takes place on July 4th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at The Park at City Center (located in downtown Woodstock, at 101 Arnold Mill Rd.)
It features food, arts and crafts vendors, kids’ activities, and live music by the band A Theory of Now. “Frolic on the Fourth” takes place on the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater Stage, and showcases performances by local dance and martial arts studios.
Fireworks will begin at dusk. They’ll take place in the Target Shopping Center on Hwy 92, near I-575.
