The city of Norcross is once again throwing a pre-Fourth of July block party. NOTE that this event takes place on Monday, July 3, 2023. It does not take place on the 4th.
Admission to the block party is FREE.
Activities are scheduled from 5 to 10 p.m.
Red, White, and BOOM! happens in downtown Norcross. The center of activities is Lillian Webb Park, located at 5 College Street. This is where the deejay is stationed, and it’s the best place to view the fireworks.
However, the Kids Zone will be in Thrasher Park, located at 93 Park Dr. There will be bounce houses (small fee), face painting, and more.
The downtown Norcross restaurants will be open, serving up food, drink, and live music. There will be an open container district within the barricaded area only.
There will be other food vendors stationed throughout downtown — along Jones Street, College Street, Skin Alley, and S. Peachtree Street.
Fireworks will begin at dusk, around 9:40 p.m.
