To allow access to as many people as possible, MODA is offering FREE admission on Fridays in September and October.
General admission is free and advance reservations are recommended, but not required.

FREE Friday Dolly Day on 9/25
Come to MODA for a Dolly-inspired Free Friday on September 25th, which has become known among Dolly Fans as “9 to 5 day” because of the date format 9/25.
Dolly Parton designed everything about herself, from the towering wigs to the signature makeup, to Dollywood and Imagination Library. She engineered a visual identity so consistently that it became her logo.
On 9/25, MODA celebrates Parton as a designer in the fullest sense.
Dolly has long been called salt of the earth, which pairs naturally with the current exhibition, SALT: A Design Story. Both are studies in how something elemental gets shaped into an identity people recognize instantly.

SALT: A Design Story
During your visit, explore SALT: A Design Story, and learn:
- How salt shaped the location of roads, cities, and trade routes
- How cultures across the world built ritual and meaning around a single mineral
- about the craft revival bringing regional flavor and traditional harvesting methods back to a once-standardized product
- How salt continues to shape design today, from architecture and packaging to the food on your plate
Free youth programs at MODA
Design Next is a monthly program that introduces high school students to the many fields of design.
MODA’s fall youth programming gives young people opportunities to build creative skills, experiment with new ideas, and learn to approach problems like designers.
Thanks to generous sponsors, these programs are all offered FREE, although some require advance registration.

Taking MARTA to MODA
From the north/south line, get off at the Arts Center Station, located directly behind the Woodruff Arts Center. Use the Peachtree Street exit, and cross Peachtree to get to MODA.
