The Mimms Museum of Technology and Art announced that its its popular Talking Tech lecture series will be FREE to the public for the remainder of 2026, thanks to a grant.
Note that only the talk is free.
If you want to visit the museum before or after talk, you’ll pay regular-price admission, which is $22 for adults (discounted prices apply to children, college students, senior citizens, and military; with appropriate ID).
The Mimms Museum, located in Roswell, features one of the world’s largest collections of digital-era artifacts and technology-inspired artwork.

Reliving Apollo 11
Saturday, Aug. 22
1 to 2 p.m.
Presented by John Baumbusch, a NASA Solar System Ambassador who previously shared insights on Apollo 8 with museum visitors. Baumbusch will explore the historic Apollo 11 mission, the powerful Saturn V rocket and the Apollo spacecraft that carried astronauts to the lunar surface, as well as what the Soviet space program was accomplishing during the Space Race.
