Come out for the Johns Creek International Festival and celebrate multi-culturalism with traditional food, music, and art. The festival takes place this Saturday, April 27th, at Heisman Field in Johns Creek. Admission is FREE.
This year’s theme is “Taste of the World” so come hungry and be adventurous.
Festival hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. 11
A selection of restaurants and food trucks will be serving traditional foods from around the world — from Asian and Indian spices to the savory flavors of the Mediterranean and the delicious dishes of Latin America. The Global Wine and Beer Garden gives you a chance to sip spirits from around the globe (if you’re 21 or over!)
Staged performances will include Salsa music and dance, drumming, martial arts performances, and instrumentalists from all over.
There will also be a Global Marketplace where you can browse and purchase traditional arts and handmade crafts.
The Kids Corner will feature story telling, face painting, and art stations — all with a cultural slant, to help kids explore new activities.
