
Finally, Friday is a monthly recurring event hosted at the Oakland Visitor Center.
No tickets or reservations required to attend (although select activities require tickets).
Just meet at the Oakland Visitor Center and enjoy community, food, learning, and fun at the liveliest Cemetery around.
This is a family-friendly event, and it’s FREE to attend.
Hours are either 5 to 8, OR 6 to 9 p.m., depending on the season.

You can take part in an immersive tour highlighting Black Atlantans buried at Oakland (tickets required) or enjoy a free screening of Maynard, a documentary about Atlanta’s first African American mayor, Maynard Jackson.
Plus, enjoy food trucks and hands-on activities for kids celebrating Black history, freedom, and equality.
