Dekalb County will host a series of drive-thru food distribution events this weekend. The giveaways are exclusively for Dekalb residents.
The county will give away 5,000 pre-packaged boxes of food, while supplies last. According to a press release, the food packages will include fresh produce, a dozen eggs, and 10-lb bags of chicken parts.
These are drive-thru events and you won’t need to get out of your car.

Events are held in the parking lots of these locations.
Food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 9 a.m.
The events are rain-or-shine.

Locations for Covid test giveaways on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022
The Covid self-tests will be distributed beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022.
Any Dekalb County resident is eligible for the giveaway.
You may stay in your car to receive a test kit, and walk-ups are welcome.
