Decatur Glassblowing will host a series of open houses and glassblowing demonstrations in 2026. We’ll list them all here.
The events have free admission, but there will be items for sale. Event details for each event are just below!
Decatur Glassblowing is located at:
250 Freeman St.
Decatur, Georgia 30030
Parking is limited in the area! There is some street parking nearby, but not a lot — pay attention to the signs.
Consider taking a ride service. The nearest MARTA station is Avondale Station, which is about an 8-minute walk from the event.
NOTE: The event organizers want to remind you that while the events are family-friendly, anyone under 18 must be supervised at all times. The shop has equipment that may be sharp or hot. And the gallery is fully of fragile art pieces that can break if mishandled.
Visiting Artist Demonstration
Saturday, May 16, 2026
6 to 10 p.m.
FREE
Visiting artists Clint Burbridge and Mike Kazmierski will be on site for a public demonstration.
They will be working on a collaborative piece that incorporates fused glass — something you don’t typically see at one of these demonsttations.
For the first two hours, the glassworkers will be narrating the process, then they’ll have a DJ spinning tunes while they work from 8 to 10 p.m.
