Cumming is the place to be this 4th of July, with a parade downtown in the morning and a full day of fun at the Cumming Fairgrounds, ending with a brilliant fireworks display.
The 68th Annual Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade starts at 10 a.m.
You can view vintage steam engines, antique tractors, and patriotic community floats.
It starts at Forsyth Central High School, then travels south on Tribble Gap Road, ending at the Cumming Fairgrounds.
Arrive early to get a great viewing spot, as thousands of people show up each year.
The Parade lasts approximately 2 hours.
Parking is available in the two downtown parking decks, at Cumming City Hall, and in some business lots along the route.

Then, come to the Cumming Fairgrounds for a day of fun, beginning at 4 p.m.
The celebration includes food trucks, kids zone, vendors, and live music.
The fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
FREE admission and parking.
No outside food or drink.
