Cherokee County Department of Parks & Recreation will hold its annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
The event is FREE to attend at Cherokee Veterans Park in Cumming, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The first 30 minutes (9:30 to 10 a.m.) is designated as Quiet Time, for those with sensitive ears.
Touch-a-Truck allows kids to get inside vehicles like fire trucks, police cars, and more.
They also get a chance to meet officers and firefighters.
The event also features food trucks, lawn games, and a DJ.
n their favorite vehicles; such as a firetruck, police car & SO much more & meet hometown heroes! We will also have a bunch of food vendors and games!
