The 2026 Big Shanty Festival comes to downtown Kennesaw this April

The Big Shanty Festival in downtown Kennesaw is scheduled for the weekend of April 18 and 19, 2026. 

According to a press release, the Big Shanty Festival will include:

• Over 250 vendor booths featuring arts and crafts
• 25 food booths
• an entertainment stage with live music
• live acoustic music in the new food court
• Note that the parade has been canceled this year

Festival hours:
• Saturday — 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Sunday — noon to 5:00 p.m.
Festival admission and live entertainment is FREE

As always, the festival will take place in downtown Kennesaw.

Getting there and parking

Location:
Downtown Kennesaw near the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History
Kennesaw, Ga 30144

Parking:
Swift-Cantrell Park (shuttle stop)
Adams Park
Kennesaw First Baptist Church

Shuttles will run from Swift-Cantrell Park to the festival grounds during event hours on both days.
