In case you didn’t know, May 7, 2025 is the final deadline for the Real ID. After this date, you will not be able to board a plane for a domestic flight unless you present a passport or Real ID.

Whether or not you’re feeling the stress of meeting this deadline, Krispy Kreme is offering a freebie in honor of the Real Id.

On May 7, 2025, Krispy Kreme is giving everyone a FREE Original Glazed doughnut. 
You do NOT have to make another purchase to get your freebie — and you don’t need an ID, real or otherwise!

The offer is available all day, in shop or via the drive-thru, at participating locations.

What’s a Real ID?
It is a form of identification that meets federal standards set by the Real ID Ac of 2005. The ID is required for boarding domestic flights and accessing federal facilities starting May 7, 2025.

To obtain a Real ID, you must apply for or renew your driver’s license or state identification card and provide specific documents that verify your residency and citizenship.
