The city of Kennesaw will host an all-day Independence Day celebration on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
The location is historic downtown Kennesaw.
Bring a picnic meal or plan to buy food on site.
Coolers are allowed but grills are NOT permitted.
You can expect a day of fun that includes:
- Live music on two stages
- Fireworks
- Family-friendly activities
- Food vendors
- Street entertainers
- Children’s parade — anyone can participate
The kids’ area will include pay-to-play attractions, like rides and inflatables.
Note that there will be street closures.
FREE public parking will be available at the following locations:
- Adams Park & the Ben Robertson Community Center, (2753 Watts Drive)
- Along Lewis Street, between North Main Street & Dallas Street

Noon: Children’s Parade
6:00 p.m.: Kaydelis performs on the Depot Park Stage
6:00 – 7:30 p.m.: School of Rock East Cobb performs on the Main Street Stage
8:00 – 9:30 p.m.: Leah Bell Fraser performs on the Main Street Stage
8:00 – 9:30 p.m: The American Flyers perform on the Depot Park Stage
9:30 p.m.: Fireworks
