Eight cities in Fulton County are coming together to host a parade and family fun day in honor of Veterans Day.
The 8 Cities Veterans Motorcade and Family Fun Day takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, with the main activities happening at the end of the parade route, in Wilkerson Mill Park.
The cities that partnered for this event include:
East Point
Union City
College Park
Hapeville
Palmetto
Chattahoochee Hills
Fairburn
The Motorcade Parade begins at 10 a.m., starting from the shopping center at 1005 Virginia Avenue in Hapeville.
The motorcade will feature motorcycle units, Corvettes and Slingshots, with bands and ROTC programs also participating in the celebration.
Oddly enough, the organizers have not published a full parade route anywhere!
Maybe each city thought the others would do that?
However, the city of Chattahoochee Hills published this on their website:
Departing from Hapeville at 10:00 a.m. the motorcade is expected to reach Palmetto and Chattahoochee Hills around 11:30 a.m., traveling along Main Street, Hutcheson’s Ferry Road, Cochran Mill Road, and Wilkerson Mill Road.
What we do know is that the parade ends at Wilkerson Mill Park with a brief commemorative program, featuring the National Anthem and special recognition of our veterans.
Stay afterward for Family Fun Day at Wilkerson Mill Park.
Enjoy live music, food trucks, a vendor market, and time spent together outdoors.
Wilkerson Mill Park is located at:
8095 Wilkerson Mill Road
Palmetto, GA 30268
